Forms: my, your, his, her, its, our, their.
In general we use possessive adjectives as in Spanish, but without the definite article, e.g.:

Notice, however, that English uses possessive adjectives in the following way, e.g.:
![]() | I'll go and brush my teeth. (Me limpié los dientes.) |
![]() | Sally has hurt her hand. (Sally se ha hecho daño en la mano.) |
![]() | Do you have trouble with your stomach? (¿Tienes problemas en el estómago?) |
In a formal style you will find one's (corresponding to ‘‘one’’), e.g.:
![]() | One should take care of one's relatives. (Deberíamos cuidar a la familia.) |
