Adverbs

Countable nouns

Uncountable nouns

Notice that enough goes after adjectives and adverbs, but normally before nouns, e.g.:

  Example Catalan
After adjectives Are you warm enough? Té prou calor?

This table is too heavy for me to move Aquesta taula pesa massa per a poder-la moure jo.

Have we got enough butter to make a cake? Tenim prou matega per a fer un pastís?
There were too many people in the lift Hi havia massa gent a l'ascensor.

Note that too alone cannot go with nouns, so we cannot say:

    too books, too paper
