- Understand common web page vocabulary in English and follow simple instructions
- Understand simple dialogues, asking for and giving information
- Form simple questions with is/are/do/does
- Use plural nouns and articles with nouns; understand country and nationality words
- Say the numbers 1 to 100; understand and give telephone numbers
- Spell words, understand and give email addresses
- Use the phonemic chart to help with pronunciation
