10.24 Purpose clauses

Es pot expressar finalitat (purpose) amb to i l'infinitiu, p. ex.:

She went to the shops to buy some bread. (Va anar a les botigues per comprar pa.)

Aquestes cląusules no inclouen la paraula for:

Error: She went to the shops for buy some bread.

Error: She went to the shops for to buy some bread.

Tanmateix, si no cal expressar el verb, es fa servir for i el nom, p. ex.:

She went to the shops for some bread. (Va anar a les botigues per (comprar) pa.)
