As in Spanish, many adjectives in English can be followed by a prepositional phrase, e.g.:

![]() | I'm tired of his complaints. (Estoy harto de sus quejas.) |
As always, a verb after a preposition must be the –ing form, e.g.:

![]() | I'm tired of hearing him complain. (Estoy harto de oírlo quejarse.) |
