We use the present continuous for future time when there is a commitment with another person, e.g.:
| I can't go to the cinema because I'm having supper with Anne. (No puedo ir al cine porque voy a cenar con Anne.) |
| We'll have to get up early because we're leaving at 8 o'clock. (Nos tendremos que levantar pronto porque nos vamos a las 8.) |
