(¡Ve a tu habitación!)
The positive form of the imperative is the same as the infinitive: go, stand, be, etc.
The negative form is don't or do not (more formal) with the infinitive, e.g.:
| Go to your room. (¡Ve a tu habitación!) |
| Wait here. (¡Espérate aquí!) |
| Do not leave valuables in the car. (¡No dejéis las cosas de valor en los coches!) |
| Don't be silly. (¡No seas sinvergüenza!) |
If necessary, we can include you before the imperative, e.g.:
| You stand on my left, Jane, and you stand on my right. (¡Ponte de pie a mi izquierda, Jane, y tú, ponte a mi derecha!) |
