5.8 Else

We use else (més) with question words what?, where?, who?, etc., and with somebody, anybody, nobody, something, anything, nothing, somewhere, anywhere, nowhere, etc., e.g.:

A: Who came? (Qui va venir?)

A: Who else came? (Qui més va venir?)

A: Did anyone else come? (Va venir algú més?)

I know you can drive a car. What else can you do? (Sé que saps conduir. Què més saps fer?)

I don't like this restaurant. Let's go somewhere else. (No m'agrada aquest restaurant. Anem a un altre.)

Here are the potatoes and the fruit. Anything else? (Aquí tens les patates i la fruita. Què més?)

I've tried everything. I don't know what else I can do. (Ho he intentat tot. No sé què més puc fer.)
